This one-night workshop is designed to introduce students to the corresponding course, FLOW 1: Intermediate + Advanced Watercolor. Though this workshop is not a prerequisite for the course, it is an opportunity to meet the instructor and preview lesson plans before committing to the full course.

In this 1-day class, you'll learn everything you need to know to get started with watercolor painting. We will have an in-depth conversation about paper and pads, paint, palettes, and brushes. After a review of color theory, we'll fill in a color wheel and paint a small illustration printed on watercolor paper. All materials provided. *A $20 materials fee to be paid to the instructor on the night of class.

We’ll be outside practicing how to follow and set bearings and navigation tricks of the trade in the light and in the dark! A compass never runs out of batteries or fails to connect with a satellite. *Students should have taken Map & Compass Level 1 or have experience using compasses with maps. **Students must have a headlamp, a flashlight and a 2-degree baseplate compass.

Have fun learning to listen to your intuition and exploring the traditional and intuitive meanings behind Tarot. We’ll go over the basics of a Tarot deck, quick ways to understand card meanings without years of studying, how to read your first card, and integrating Tarot into your life for self-reflection, confidence, and guidance. You can bring a deck if you have one on hand that you’d like to connect with and explore further. This workshop is 1 night.

Using a combination of soft flowing and strengthening exercises, gentle stretching and balance postures focusing on postural alignment, focused breathing and a meditative mindset. Free the mind of distracting thoughts, expectations, and anxiety in order to experience centering, balance, reduce stress, develop strength, flexibility and gain personal control. Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle and wear loose comfortable clothing. *No Class: 11/24 & 2/16. **Snow Date: 3/9.
